Harambec – Five-Year Plan 2025–2030
For the Emancipation of Black Communities
We are proud to present our 2025–2030 Five-Year Plan, a strategic framework created by and for Black women and Black non-binary people. Rooted in our decolonial and anti-racist principles, this plan reaffirms our mission: to create spaces of care, memory, political education, and solidarity — where taking care of one another becomes a form of radical resistance.
With the support of WAGE, we have shaped a strong vision built around six key objectives:
- Active participation of our members in the collective’s decisions and actions.
- Inclusive and representative governance, led by a stable Board of Directors of 9 to 11 members.
- Development of a clear and accessible membership model, reserved for Black women and Black non-binary people.
- Education and empowerment through intergenerational, decolonial programs.
- Strengthened alliances, particularly with Indigenous communities, grounded in justice and solidarity.
- Material and financial autonomy, including securing a physical space and diversifying our resources.
