Harambec Membership is now open!

Membership is exclusively open to Black women and Black non-binary people living in Quebec.

Why become a member?

  • Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting — to take part in decision-making and shape the direction of the collective
  • Opportunity to run for the Board of Directors — to influence strategy, priorities, and practices
  • Priority access to events, workshops, residencies, exhibitions, and other creative spaces we organize
  • Chance to propose your own activity ideas — cultural projects, workshops, events, archives — or get involved in a volunteer Board committee
  • A space for us, by us — to connect with other Black women and Black non-binary people, build collective capacity, and support each other
  • Contribute to our collective memory through access to exhibitions, untold stories, radical artistic practices, and community archiving
  • Member-only gatherings, including an annual welcoming event for new members

It’s free and valid for two years

Membership is completely free.
You’re welcome to donate to support our mission — however, please note that we are not a registered charity and therefore cannot issue tax receipts.
