Are you a Black youth aged 12-17 in Montreal, or do you know someone who is? If so, we have an incredible opportunity just for you! The 2024 Montreal Freedom School is here to offer a transformative experience focused on community involvement, social justice, and the rich histories and cultures of Black people.
From August 5-16, 2024, the Montreal Freedom School will be hosting an immersive program packed with dynamic workshops, enlightening field trips, inspirational guest speakers, and so much more. This program is designed to empower and uplift our Black youth, providing them with the tools and knowledge to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Why should you join the Montreal Freedom School? This program creates safe spaces for critical conversations about identity, social justice, and Black histories. It is a unique opportunity to explore these important topics in a supportive and encouraging environment, surrounded by peers and mentors who share a commitment to positive change.
Participants can expect a variety of engaging activities, including interactive workshops that cover a range of topics, from art to activism. Inspiring guest speakers will share their experiences and insights, offering valuable lessons and motivation. The program also includes Black history tours that provide a deeper understanding of the contributions and struggles of Black communities. Additionally, there will be art workshops to foster creativity and meditation practices to promote well-being and self-care.
Joining the Montreal Freedom School is easy, but space is limited, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

We provide transportation, meals, and a certificate upon completion, ensuring that every participant can fully enjoy and benefit from this experience without any financial burden.
